Simple, Grilled Burgers

 Mmmm burger goodness

Description

These simple burgers are easy to put together and harken back to the reason why burgers became an American classic.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup white onion
2 medium cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
1 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Details

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4 burgers

Instructions

Finely mince the onion and garlic.  Place the ground burger in a bowl with the onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.  Use your hands to mix everything together. It's important to get all the seasonings mixed throughout the burger.
To form the burgers, split the mixture into fourths and use your hands to make patties.  Let the patties rest for five minutes for the flavors to absorb into the burgers.
Grill the burgers on a medium hot grill for five minutes, flip and cook for another five to six minutes or until the burgers have the desired level of doneness.

Notes

These are great burgers to serve with the classic do it yourself options of sliced tomato, cheese, ketchup, and mustard.  We also recommend an 85/15 mixture for the ground beef if you're not grinding your own meat.
